Postproduction VIRUS

Black Week discounts everywhere. But even the Deal Detective can’t convict Deichmann of scamming. Because Deichmann’s deals are real. Yes, and the harsh rule over its interns certainly doesn’t help. Max and his friend have done everything to find some evidence. But there’s one thing they will never do: lie. And you can see how it all ends on Deichmann’s social media channels … Thanks to Jung von Matt for allowing us to tell this little story directed by Dimitri Tsvetkov.

ART DEPARTMENT

Even if it's hard to believe, we filmed in an empty office building. Apart from the walls, these rooms had nothing to offer. A perfect playground for the art department to really let off steam. Together with the brilliant Maximilan Hirsch, Dimitri has created a detailed world in which the deal detective and his interns find themselves. And yes, we had to completely empty the rooms again after the shoot.

CAST

Together with Fiona Quint, our casting director for the project, we found actors who fit like a glove. The vengeful and success-oriented deal detective who will go to any lengths. His loyal assistant, who follows him wherever he goes. Max, the hard-working trainee who never stops but has the right moral compass. And his good friend who stands by his side, even if he is a bit clumsy from time to time. Together with the art department, it's a really well-rounded story.

EQUIPMENT

Now we have a great art department and a fantastic cast. All we need now is the right camera equipment and the perfect lighting setup. Thanks to Boy Behnke (DP) and Peter Assmann (Gaffer), we were able to pour everything into a great film in the end. And that's how we created the world around Deal Detective.
